Fees

Hurlingham Preschool has opted-in to the Free Kinder initiative that the government announced last year. The funding operates as a “one size fits all” approach for sessional kindergartens. Every kinder that opts in gets the same set amount of funding per child. Whilst the funding covers a large proportion of our operating costs, we cannot continue to run the kinder as it is on this level of funding.

We all firmly believe that Hurlingham offers a comprehensive education program that delivers valuable and engaging learning experiences for all of our children. In order to maintain the quality that we are known for do ask families for voluntary contributions.

Please note for 2023

Each Group will comprise up to 22 children.

Platypus extended care Group is for Koalas families only. This is designed to assist working families by providing an afternoon program for their 4yr old while also considering the needs of each individual child.

Please note that the Extended Care programs are an additional cost.

We have based these fees purely around the cost of operating the service, as we are a not-for-profit organisation.

We ask for the same yearly commitment as we do with the kindergarten groups, and the fees will be sent prior to the term commencing and paid either per term or annually.

Only one (1) Government subsidised place is available per child for 3 and 4yr old preschool.  As Hurlingham Preschool is a not-for-profit service, if your child is attending more than one funded program (i.e.. an additional long day care Kindergarten program), it is required that Hurlingham Preschool receive the funding for your child, to continue providing our service to the community.
